Welcome to Portugal Open

Dear Taekwondo Friends,

On Behalf of the Portuguese Taekwondo Federation I have the pleasure to inviting you and your team to the 2011 Portugal Open in Taekwondo.

After organize 5 times the Seixal Taekwondo Open, we decide to organize for the first time, the Portugal Open in 2010.  This was a great success that allow us to candidate this event to A Class ETU Tournament. This way the Portugal Open 2011 will be A Class event for Poomsae discipline.

Like in the others events we will have Poomsae IR and Kyorugi IR at Portugal Open.

In the Kyorugi competitions we will use Electronic Body Protectors (DAEDO) for Junior and Senior divisions. This will help athletes preparing future world Taekwondo events and developer Taekwondo sport., At Poomsae competition we will use eletronic judge scoring and WTF rules.

We`ll be waiting for you and your team, to make this second Portugal Open a major international tournament in the beautiful city of Seixal.
